POLOKWANE – The street parade will move from SABC Park through Excelsior, Schoeman and Bodenstein streets leading to Jack Botes Hall on Wednesday monring says municipal spokesperson Matshidiso Mothapo.
From 09:00 and 11:00 the following streets will be also be closed to accommodate the street parade:
Corners Landdros Maré; Excelsior; Schoeman as well as Bodenstein Streets.
Several parking facilities around the event venue will be closed to the public between 07:00 and 15:00 on 22 June:
Parking on Church Street near the Visitors Information Centre, the paved parking on the southern side of Department of Roads and Transport and the open non-paved parking on Bodenstein Street. The Civic centre parking will also be closed for parking between 07:00 and 10:00.
Residents and motorists are urged to be patient, and to use alternative routes.
