Flora Park Comprehensive School recently received a visit by representatives from the Capricorn District Municipality (CDM), National Youth Development Agency (Nyda) and Old Mutual to tell them more about careers and subject choices and what to do to obtain a bursary from these institutions.
Representatives from different career fields such as engineer, accountant and communications specialist accompanied the group to tell learners more about job possibilities in their line of work, and what qualifications they must have to follow a career in specific areas.

Participants in the career session with Flora Park Comprehensive School learners are Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) representatives Michael Mojela, Matlakala Rawale, Lindiwe Pholoana, National Youth Development Agency representative Masilo Lephalela, Molaifa Nethenzheni, Flora Park Comprehensive School organiser and Zakhele Kganakga of CDM. At the back are Charles Thaba, Asiti Pheeha from Old Mutual, Jabu Masondo and Emmanuel Thotse both from CDM.
Kgabo Mokwele and Phuti Tele from Polokwane Municipality informed Flora park Comprehensive School learners about career possibilities in the municipality as well as bursaries.
