POLOKWANE – Earlier today (Wednesday) the members marched to the offices to hand over a memorandum stating that the hike in rates and taxes are too high for the elderly residents and people living on state grants alone. Traffic was brought to a standstill in the area of Lndross Maré and Bodenstein Streets.

According to municipality spokesperson Matshidiso Mothapo the members handed over a memorandum and have now left the area.
All services are reinstated and traffic flow is back to normal.
