Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) through their Corporate Social Responsibility programme handed over non perishable foods, toiletries and clothing items to Polokwane Behoeftiges in Ladanna last Wednesday.
The organisation collects food parcels and clothing and distributes them to needy and underprivileged people in and around Polokwane.
Pemps educator Mabine Mametja who organised the collection and handover said they hoped to touch the lives of the needy.
“The organisation approached us and we saw the need. We then requested parents, educators and learners to collect food parcels and clothing items in order to come to their assistance,” Mametja said.
