MGM Motors Golf Weekend brings entertainment

The MGM Motors Golf Weekend provided lots of entertainment for clients and guests who took advantage of the pleasant weather at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 108 golfers took part in the Combined Stableford, 96 on Saturday and 12 on Sunday and the overall winners for the two days were Andries du Plessis and Belinda Schutte.
On Saturday the winners were Anthoney Olley and Lennie Olley with 80 points, with Charles Mdhuli and Tony Plaajies in the second place with 74 points. No player won the jackpot worth R1 470.
On Sunday the winners were Edwin Mackays and Joe Mackays with 69 points, with Papu Lykanyiso and Dlamini Mimezi in the second position with 62 points.
Joe Mackays recorded the longest drive on the first hole and Papu Lykanyiso on the eighteenth.
