Cash flow issues touched on at BWASA and Standard Bank seminar

"Starting a business is hard... running and growing a business even more so..." - Nthipi Modiba, the owner of MOD Events.

POLOKWANE – These are the words of local businesswoman Nthipi Modiba, the owner of MOD Events in Polokwane.  Nthipi was one of the speakers at the recent Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (BWASA) and Standard Bank financial management seminar.

“The seminar targets mainly female business owners. We saw a need to have a seminar that involved cash flow management because we know that cash is key in business. We want people to be better at managing their finances especially at the beginning of their ventures,” explained Bella Msiza is the chairperson of BWASA.

Nthipi matriculated in Polokwane and furthered her marketing studies at University of Johannesburg (UJ). “I have worked in the hospitality and marketing industry for over 15 years.” In the video she offers a few tips on how to successfully manage a company.
