Medal harvest for TVET athletes

Limpopo recently took home the crown as national field and track champions, while five athletes from Waterberg TVET College in Mokopane boast with six medals

MOKOPANE – The top athletes from TVET colleges from more than five provinces recently competed for the crown in Rustenburg, with athletes from Limpopo winning 38 medals collectively, earning them first place in the competition.

The Waterberg TVET College was well represented as Harry Seolwane, Thato Kekana, Gift Seolwane, Portia Lekgwathi and Maureen Molomo rose to the occasion and managed to scoop up six medals.

Thabo Moloto, extra-curricular coordinator of Waterberg TVET College, said: “I am proud of our athletes for their great efforts displayed during the competitions and time invested during the preparations, which yielded good results”.
