Operation Fiela leads to 6 arrests in Westenburg

Westenburg police arrested six people in the Westenburg policing area over the weekend during Operation Fiela

POLOKWANE – The six suspects face charges of common assault.

The police also closed six illegal shebeens and the owners were fined. The police also confiscated an undisclosed amount of liquor from the shebeens.

Seven people were issued summonses for violation of the Road traffic Act.
