Lucky winner drives away in brand new Mercedes-Benz

Bernica Maluleke drove away in a brand new Mercedes-Benz A200 on Sunday after she won the final Mošito draw at Meropa Casino & Entertainment World.
A further R160 000 in cash and prizes was also awarded as the promotion, which has been running since 1 February, came to a nail biting end with a glittering ceremony at Meropa on Sunday.
The singers, dancers and drummers of local traditional dance group, Babylon Travellers, entertained guests before the ceremony began and loudly cheered and drummed as each finalist’s name was called.
Finalists were chosen by electronic draw and each had to pick a golden box from a table. Besides the two ultimate finalists, of which the runner up won R50 000, the finalists’ boxes contained gaming vouchers worth thousands of rand.
Most Valued Guest (MGV) cardholders needed to earn 600 points during the promotional period to qualify for the draw. The top three point earners, of which Maluleke was one each won a guaranteed share of R60 000 in cash.
Over the past six weeks, Meropa Casino has given away a Volkswagen Polo Vivo as well as cash and prizes during the February monthly Mošito draw. The total prize bounty for the two month long Mošito promotion amounts to R700 000.
