Government urges motorists to obey the rules of the road this Easter weekend
POLOKWANE – Motorists are urged to:
- Adhere to the speed limit
- Not to drink and drive, rather make alternative transport arrangements
- Plan trips with sufficient rest stops
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
- Not to compromise the safety of passengers, ensure they are buckled up and use child restraint where appropriate
- Have enough rest time for travelling long distances
- Ensure documents as a driver are valid and those of the vehicle that will be used
