POLOKWANE – Owner of Anti-Waste, Fanus Beytell, says this new equipment, which was imported from China, will bring them up to the level of Anti-Waste firms in larger metropolitans in South Africa in regards to output.
Beytell says not only will the output of this new compactor be more, but the size and weight of the waste bales from paper and plastic will also be much larger than before.
He says before the arrival of the new compactor, the bales used to weight about 450kg. The new compactor, which operates at a faster rate, can produce bales of at least a ton in weight.
“This compactor is the first of its kind in Limpopo that will produce this kind of output in the waste recovery sector. For me it is all about volumes, and to be a leader in our field,” says Beytell.
