MEC Mashamba gives thanks

As the year draws to a close, we take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined hands with our department in helping to create and build a caring society together.

There are many individuals and groups who have gone above and beyond, to assist in the social welfare of our people. However, more needs to be done.

In this time when families get together and enjoy well deserved rest and most probably indulge in elaborate meals, let us think of the less fortunate and where possible, make a change in their lives not only during this festive season, but every day of the year.

My wish for the citizens of this province is a peaceful and safe festive season.
