POLOKWANE – The four suspects that were arrested for the possession of dagga on Thursday signed an admission of guilt and were released.
The Westenburg police arrested the suspects, three men aged between 17 and 32 years old and a woman aged 42 years old, during a police operation in the Westenburg policing area.
Const Elias Setati, a Westenburg police spokesperson, said that two minors both aged 17 years old will undergo a division process with social workers.
“We discovered that the minors are being used to sell the drugs. Parents and the community are advised to be vigilant in these instances to check if their children are friends with people older than them,” Setati said.
