POLOKWANE – Polokwane Municipality will scale down its normal operations from 24 December to 31 December.
Most departments of the municipality will be closed during this time. Essential services operations will run on skeleton staff.
Emergency services such as fire and rescue, water and sanitation, electrical services and community services will be available at all times.
During this downtime operating hours for the Rates Hall at the Civic Centre will be from 08:00-10:00.
Prepaid electricity can be purchased through mobile phones or at the following outlets:
• Vending achines outside the Civic Centre, municpal ofices at Seshego Zone 3 and Savannah Mall.
• Spar, Seven Eleven and most filling stations
Municipal accounts can be paid through electronic transfer or through EasyPay.
