LIMPOPO – The three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Rina Langenhoven (67) of the farm Silver Mist appeared in the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court today on charges of murder and house robbery.
The three suspects, Frans Seswa Mohlatlego (32), Lawrence Frans Hlongwane (45) and a previous employee on the farm Frans Ngobeni (35), were arrested at Mshongoville village at Mentz Mankweng on Tuesday after detectives tracked down the stolen vehicle taken during the incident says provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
As earlier reported Rina Langenhoven’s body was discovered under a mattress in one of the rooms by the domestic worker when she reported for duty on Monday morning.
“Her hands were tied behind her back and her mouth bound, both with packaging tape.”
The cases against Mohlatlego, Hlongwane and Ngobeni were remanded to 15 December for a formal bail application in the Haenertsburg Periodical Court. They will remain in custody until then concludes Otto.
