Manager (67) murdered at Haenertsburg resort

Anna Catharina Langenhoven (Rina), the 67-year-old Resort manager of Silver Mist, just outside the village of Haenertsburg, was found murdered.

LIMPOPO – Anna Catharina Langenhoven (Rina), the 67-year-old Resort manager of Silver Mist, just outside the village of Haenertsburg, was found murdered.

Her body was discovered under a mattress in one of the rooms by the domestic worker when reporting for duty on Monday morning says provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.

“She was found with her hands were tied behind her back and her mouth bound, both with packaging tape.”

“Preliminary investigations seem to indicate that the deceased was attacked by unknown assailants while watching television.”

The motive for the killing has not yet been established and two cell phones and an Isuzu bakkie were taken from the scene.

No arrests have been made as yet and investigation continue.

 

Langenhoven was well known in the equine world and was involved with the Arabian horses at Silver Mist. She’d worked at major studs in the U. A.E. and Kentucky in the USA where she gained experience in stud and stable management. Langenhoven worked in the advertising worked for more than two decades and took over the management of Silver Mist when she moved to the area some six years ago.
