Helicopter crash claims 2 lives

LIMPOPO – Two people have died in a helicopter crash in the Musina area on Wednesday morning reports Limpopo police.

“The R44 helicopter crashed just after  05:00 on Wednesday morning behind the Musina Golf Club. Both De Klerk van Heerden (pilot) and his female passenger,  Roxanne van der Bank were declared dead on the scene,” says provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.

Van Heerden and Van der Bank are both residents from Musina adds Otto.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and an inquest has been registered concludes Otto.
