POLOKWANE – Greenside Primary School learners were awarded for their outstanding school work throughout the year during the school’s awards ceremony, which was held on Thursday.
Gr 7 top learner, Grastegi Sakawenka, was thrilled after he received nine certificates for his outstanding school work.
He said he was proud of his achievement as he took his education seriously and he was glad his hard work was rewarded.
“I am thrilled to be selected as the Gr 7 top learner because I know I earned this with my hard work. Committing yourself to your education and reading is something learners should realise is what’s best for them.”
The principal, Peter Ramaphakela, urged the Gr 7 learners to work hard towards their education.
“Do not wait for the last minute before the exams to begin your studies. Thank you, we are proud of you for your hard work over the years,” Ramaphakela said.
