Farmer (70) robbed, 3 to appear before Laersdrift court

The provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Lt General SF Masemola applauded the police for the swift arrest of the three suspects.

LIMPOPO – Three suspects arrested in connection with a robbery on a farm on Wednesday are set to appear before the Laersdrift Magistrates Court said Limpopo police.

“According to information received the three suspects allegedly forced their way into the farm house on Wednesday morning at about 06:00. They stole six firearms belonging to a 70-year-old farmer from a safe and fled the scene,” said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.

The police immediately launched a search and all the suspects were apprehended in and around Laersdrift, the stolen firearms were recovered said Otto.

The provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Lt General SF Masemola applauded the police for swift arrest of the three suspects.

The suspects will appear on the charges of house robbery and possession of suspected stolen property concluded Otto
