Nal’ibali Book Jam, 20 Nov

It starts with a story... The Nal'ibali crew gathered at the intersection of Hans v Rensburg and Grobler Street on Friday (20 November 2015). Their mission to encourage people in Polokwane to read.

POLOKWANE- National reading for enjoyment campaign, Nal’ibali, on Friday morning held a Book Traffic Jam on the corners of Grobler and Hans van Rensburg street in town.

The Nal’ibali team handed out books in different South African languages such as Pedi, Tsonga, Venda as well as English, which was well received by passers by.

“It went so well, people were very open and keen to receive books and ask about our campaign,” said Rinae organiser of the event.

The team is looking forward to hosting more book jams in the future.
