Westenburg crew wish gr.12 learners well for exams

"Education is the foundation of your success - without it you cannot reach your full potential" - Westenburg V-dub Crew

POLOKWANE – “Education is the foundation of your success – without it you cannot reach your full potential.”

With these wise words members of the Westenburg V-dub Crew wished the Gr 12 learners of Westenburg Secondary School well with their final examination.

The crew’s motto is to make a difference starting in their own community, but also reaching out to other communities.

President of the Westenburg V-dub Crew, Conroe Ross, said: “We are a group of young men who have the desire to make a difference and to help others. We are not rich, but we believe with the little we have, we can make a difference. Money is not the only way to help a person. By giving your time, love and attention you can make a big difference in someone’s life.”

As part of their community outreach programme the crew handed over an envelop with an undisclosed amount of money to the Westenburg Secondary School’s school governing body (SGB) at the school’s Lemoen Dance on Saturday night.

“Almost 95% of our crew members are products of Westenburg Secondary School and we believe charity starts at home. We know the school is not financially strong and experience many challenges which is why we decided to reach into our pockets and make this small donation. We hope it helps in some way,” Ross added.
