miss limpopoThis year’s Miss Limpopo/Miss Limpopo Teen competition promises to be tougher than ever with close to 100 entries received in the different categories by the official closing time on Monday.
Miss Limpopo Trust Chairperson, Matlakala Bopape said on Tuesday that judging by by the look of the photos handed in with the entry forms the competition was going to be very tough. “Each girl looks beautiful and very confident. I am very pleased with the entries we have received,” she said. Bopape explained that she was very excited about the casting that will take place at House of Asante Spa when the ten finalists in each category will be chosen on Saturday.
Bopape said they are looking for girls who are beautiful inside and out, because, she believes, when you are beautiful inside it reflects on the outside.
Mosiah Tau, Miss Limpopo 2015 said she agreed with Bopape that the competition was going to be very tough and that she wishes the girls best of luck for Saturday.
“I remember the day when the casting for Miss Limpopo 2015/ Miss Limpopo Teen took place. It was nerve wrecking but very exciting at the same time. I did not know what to expect. When the time came for the ten finalists to be announced I was the last girl on the list. I am so glad that I could experience the journey of being Miss Limpopo 2015,” Tau stated.
When asked for advice for this year’s participants she replied that they should only be themselves.
The pageant is planned for 5 December at Meropa Casino & Entertainment World when Tau will hand over her crown to Miss Limpopo 2016.
