High risk of load shedding today
Load shedding today is a possibility according to Eskom. So just in case we have listed the Polokwane areas that might be affected...
NATIONAL – Eskom says the power system will be constrained this morning from 06:00-22:00 due to a shortage of generation capacity.
“Four of our big units are offline today due to technical faults which will increase the risk of loadshedding.”
We have a high probability of load shedding today. Eskom urges you to immediately switch off all unnecessary appliances to save electricity.

08:00-10:00
Block 11 Area Peninapark, CBD between Suid & Thabo Mbeki Streets and between Biccard & Dahl Streets.
10:00-12:00
Block 12 Area Florapark & Faunapark West of McDonald Street, Golf Club, Edupark, all other sports clubs in the area of the Cricket Club and both Staduims.
12:00-14:00
Block 13 Area Voortekkerpark between Voortrekker & Webster Streets, between Suid & Rissik Streets, Ivypark, Ivypark Ext. 34, Ivydale Plots and Meropa Casino.
14:00-16:00
Block 14 Area Seshego Zone 8, Zone 5, Zone 4, Zone 2, Madibapark, Hospital View, Ext 73 and Zone 1 Ext.
16:00-18:00
Block 15 Area Seshego Zone 6, Bikopark, Zone 3, Zone 4, College and Lethulipark.
18:00-20:00
Block 1 Area Thornhill, Thornhill Centre, Northview, Maroela Hights and Savannah Centre.
20:00-22:00
Block 2 Area Florapark East of McDonald Street and Serelala View.
