POLOKWANE- With 302 million users, Twitter is one of the most popular social networking sites in the world.
Here’s how to sign up!
Step 1: Search for Twitter on Google.
Step 2: Click on the first link to go to the Twitter website.
Step 3: In the ‘Sign Up’ box, fill in your name, your email address and a password. Remember to fill in a password that you will remember but one that isn’t easy for others to figure out.
Step 3: Click ‘Sign Up’
Step 4: For security reasons, you can enter your phone number, but it’s optional.
Step 5: Choose your username. Remeber, pick a username that people will recognise you by.
Step 6: Welcome to your Twitter page!
Step 7: Select your interests. These are categories in which you can follow other people.
Step 8: Your selctions will generate suggestions of people you can follow. You can choose to follow them or not.
Step 9: Add a photo of yourself. This is a way of people recognising you online.
Step 10: Twitter will take you to your home page.
Step 11: Start following people by going to their pages and clicking ‘follow’.
