LIMPOPO – The police in Haenertsburg need help in identifying the body of a young man, which was found in the Ebenezer Dam.

 

Provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, says the body was discovered by the owner of the property on October 1.

“The age of the young man is estimated to be between 13 and 14 years old. The young man is black, tall and slender and light in complexion. He was found with a golf ball and tissue paper in his mouth. The body is still intact with no parts removed,” says Otto.

It is estimated that the body could have been in the water for approximately two days, adds Otto.

“We await the results of the post mortem to determine the cause of death.”

The police request anyone with a missing child or anyone who might be able to shed more light on this incident to contact the investigating detective, WO Andrew Ngamuni at 082 414 3031.
