Mose Makgoka a learner from Seshigo High School in Moltjie was one the first to arrive at the National Marine Week launch at Boliva Lodge on Monday.”This is a great initiative and teaches us to conserve and preserve our oceans.” Mose says maybe one day he will work in the ocean.
National Marine Week is a campaign that aims to educate all South Africans about the role oceans play in their daily lives. This year’s campaign is celebrated under the theme: Oceans 70/20: Decoding Mysteries, Maximising Opportunities.
The week-long exhibitions will begin on Monday, 5 October 2015 and end Saturday, 10 October 2015.
