16 suspects in court for public violence
Sixteen suspects appeared before the Nebo magistrate's court today for public violence and malicious damage to property
LIMPOPO – Sixteen suspects appeared before the Nebo magistrate’s court today on charges of public violence and malicious damage to property.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, the arrests were in relation to the violent incident that took place at St Ritas Hospital last week, where mobile classrooms belonging to a nursing college were set alight.
The suspects each received R1 000 bail and the case was remanded to 10 December, said Otto.
