Combined funeral service for Da Costa siblings

A combined funeral service will be held for Jayden da Costa and his sister, Kaitlin this Friday.

POLOKWANE -The ‘little fighter’ Jayden da Costa sadly passed away in his mother’s arms on Sunday morning.

A combined funeral service will be held for Jayden and his sister, Kaitlin at Ellisras PPK Lighuis at 14:00 on  25 September.

Jayden suffered burn wounds to his face and hands during a fire at his grandfather’s house in Lephalale recently.

Jayden’s mother Sibreena earlier pleaded:  “we would like to move Jayden to a private hospital, Mankweng does not have much hope for him, and would would like to give him a fighting chance at Mediclinic Muelmed.”

Jayden and his mother Sibreena  were airlifted to Wonderboom airport where they were met by a representative of Hero Burn Foundation… they were was transferred to Mediclinic Muelmed in Arcadia, Pretoria.

According to the updates on Hero Burn Foundation Facebook on 17 September;  “the doctors have found that his burn wounds are more extensive than they initially thought.”

19 September 2015

“On Saturday 19 September they sent him for a brain scan, “brain scan results show no brain function”.
