LIMPOPO – Rhythm and blues singer, Donald Moatshe who is also a Metro FM award winner for Best Produced Album and Best Styled Artist, is in the province to promote his new album Black and White 2.0 DJ’s Edition.

The album, released under the label Dexclusive Sounds in August this year, is already making waves on radio stations countrywide.

The singer became well-known when he released his single, I deserve, which became the top selling song of the year in the Vodacom Mobile download charts since the album released. His third single, Over the Moon, had similar success in 2012. Donald promises that his new offering won’t disappoint.

“My first album did well and I hope this one will sell even better. It took me four months to complete this album with the help of various South African DJ’s. I had to work ten times harder to finish this album. This album is repackaged from the previous one, Train of love. There are eight new songs, and three from the previous album,” Donald told Express.

The 11-track album offers songs like Spiritual Love featuring Mobi Dixon, Never let you go featuring Heavy K and Afroboyz, What goes around featuring Prince Kaybee, Milano featuring Black Motion, Wangu Duet with Diamond featuring Patnumz and DJ Clock, I rise (Remix) featuring Darcapo, Runaway Love featuring Euphonic, and Party for 2 featuring Big Nuz.

Donald said his main influence was Boys II Men and Ringo Madlingozi, these top musicians helped him develop his unique sound.

“The single Never let you go is available on MTN caller tunes and on iTunes. I have never made music for clubs and I wanted to do something different. My goal is to produce music people love, music that touches them on a different level, this is why I teamed up with the best DJ’s in the country. This album is unique – rhythm and blues mixed with house music. All I want is to be part of December Fever. My aim is to reach platinum status with this album. I have never disappointed my fans because they never disappoint me. My albums and music are available at most music stores countrywide and on iTunes.”
