NATIONAL – Cell phone footage has emerged showing a fight between two gr. 7 learners at Laerskool Randfontein in Johannesburg.
In the video, one learner is targeted before being physically and verbally attacked by a group of fellow learners, Randfontein Herald reported.
The learner who recorded the video repeatedly told the rest of the learners not to assist him in the fight.
Once the victim was on the ground, the learners began to laugh mockingly at him.
The school’s principal, Leon Haupt, issued a statement on the school’s Facebook confirming the incident. He said all the learners involved in the fight have been identified and disciplinary action will be taken against them.
