POLOKWANE – Streets within the city shall be blocked off 14 September (today) from 02:30am until about 13:00 due to a clean-up operation said the police in a media release on Monday morning.
The release states: “In an effort to curb crime and uproot criminal activity the South African Police Services in its various units, Polokwane Municipality’s Community Safety, Traffic Police, and the Limpopo Provincial Disaster Management to name but a few, will embark on an operation that will lead to the barricading of roads within the Polokwane.
The following streets within shall be closed:
- Corner of Thabo Mbeki and Paul Kruger Street.
- Corner of Thabo Mbeki and Church Street.
- Corner of Marshall and Church Street.
- Corner of Marshall and Paul Kruger Street.
- Corner of Rabe and Paul Kruger Street.
- Corner of Rabe and General Joubert Street.
- Corner of Bodenstein and Landros Mare’ Street.
- Corner of Bodenstein and Market Street.
The police appeal to the people who will be affected to be patient with the law enforcement personnel that will be on duty at the time.
