LIMPOPO – The Middleburg magistrate’s court has sentenced two men to life imprisonment for the murder of a farmer.
Papiki Mokwena (22) and Ernst Mthombeni (23) stabbed and shot Sarel Janse van Rensburg on the farm, Froggy Pond in the Dullstroom area in September last year.
They were also sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for armed robbery, three years for possession of an unlicensed fire arm and 18 months for the possession of unlicensed ammunition.
