Marapong protests: damage estimated at millions

21 buses, a police station and a municipal office were burnt by protesters in Marapong on Monday evening.

LIMPOPO- “Damage caused at Marapong township has been estimated at millions of rands,” reports SABC on Tuesday.

21 buses, a police station and a municipal office were burnt by protesters in Marapong village near Lepahale on Monday evening said Limpopo police.

‘Protesters blocked the roads from Lephalale to Marapong on Monday evening.”

Investigations are now underway to determine the reasons property was damaged.
