The case has been postponed for further investigation.

LIMPOPO –  EFF Limpopo secretary Jossey Buthane and four others appeared in the Mokerong magistrates court on 7 September (Monday).

They were arrested on Friday during the protests at Anglo American Mogalakwena Patatinum Mine on the charge of public violence.

The case has been postponed to 30 September for further investigation.

All four were released without bail.

“We as the EFF will keep on supporting the community in their struggle of raising their concerns to the mine. We ask that the management of the Mogalakwena will speak to the community and hear their concerns,” Buthane said.
