Burn victim (8) fights for her life in Polokwane

A house fire in Lephalale has left two children seriously burnt and two adults injured.

POLOKWANE – A house fire in Lephalale has left two children seriously burnt and two adults injured reported The Citizen on Saturday.

Kaitlint Da Costa (8),  is fighting for her life in the Mankweng Hospital after she suffered 90% burn wounds to her body when the room she was sleeping in caught fire.

HEr brother Jayden (1) was also admitted to hospital, he suffered several burn wounds to his face.

The children were sleeping in a room with their mother, her fiancé and their four-your-old brother when the fire broke out.

The four-year-old brother was rescued by the mother and only sustained minor injuries.
