Mediclinic Lim launches Paediatric Patient Journey

Mediclinic Limpopo last Thursday launched their Paediatric Patient Journey initiative that is set to provide a variety of meals to children at the Paediatric wards.
Henry van Rooyen, Project Manager at Fedics Food Services, the main suppliers of catering services at the hospital, explained that the main objective of the scheme is to keep young patients happy and make them feel at home while they are hospitalised.
He said the meals will be prepared by qualified chefs attached to Fedics Food Services who will be stationed at the hospital. “Besides providing sound nutritious meals for the children we will also provide entertainment for them. We will organise parties for those celebrating their birthdays while in hospital. We will also have colouring competitions where parents can come and colour with their children.”
Istha McMillan, Patient Experience Manager at Mediclinic Limpopo said the newly launched service will keep the children happy and make them to feel at home.
