Christine Espach, partner at newly formed Veritas Incorporated is excited about this new phase of her life.
“It is just incredible to see how things have come together for us. It took us only three days to move into our new premises, give staff the necessary software training and to set up shop. On day four we started our first audit,” she says proudly.
“I truly believe that we are starting a successful new chapter in our lives and I can see God’s hand in everything we do.”
Espach has more than 10 years of experience in the audit and accounting sector, including international experience that she achieved when she worked in Georgia, Atlanta, in the USA. “I worked with large pharmaceutical corporations and mining industry.”
Espach is a competent and dynamic partner at Veritas. “I am honoured that my partners believed in me and asked me to join them at Veritas. I believe we are going to make a difference.”
She specialises in auditing and consulting and is an accredited South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) assessor.
Espach is married to businessman Johan and they are the proud parents of two-year-old Rohan. The family enjoys travelling and one of their favourite destinations is Dullstroom in Mpumalanga, a place that carries special memories for them.
This devoted mother says she spends most of her free time with her little boy, but she also likes to work out on a regular basis as it is a top stress reliever.
Espach says she believes in hard work and her advice to young people are to keep on working hard, no matter what life throws at you. “You have to persevere through the tough times to reap success in the end,” she advises.
“Life really begins where your comfort zones end,” says this fearless go-getter.
