Lim Wayfarer Association welcomes 19 girls

Nineteen learners from Tsutsumetsa Higher Primary School in Seshego zone 2 were enrolled as wayfarers on Monday

POLOKWANE – Nineteen learners from Tsutsumetsa Higher Primary School in Seshego zone 2 were enrolled as wayfarers on Monday.

“The enrolment of young girls in the Limpopo Girl Wayfarer Association will assist in reviving discipline, manners and good behaviour into young girls who later on have to make their mark as woman in modern society,” said Mabel Duba, District Superintendent of the Limpopo Girl Wayfarer Association.

She added that the wayfarer association’s main aim was to change characters to counteract the deterioration of morality.

The principal, Julius Magagane, agreed with her and said the extra curricular activity would instil discipline into the young girls.

“We expect this young Wayfarers to be ambassadors and role models. We are reviving a past model for the sake of moral regeneration,” he explained.
