NATIONAL – CCTV footage shows armed robbery suspects shooting two police officers following a robbery at a Cash Crusaders, reported Mduduzi Mtakati of Citizen.
In the footage, one of the suspects is seen loading a bag into the vehicle they were travelling in, while a police vehicle pulls over next them.
Shortly afterwards, two of the suspects, armed with AK47s, open fire at the police officers. One of the police officers is seen trying to run away, but is apparently shot. His colleague was also shot.
The incident reportedly took place on July 15, but it is uncertain where it happened.
