POLOKWANE – N1 and R101 roads has been blocked at the Meropa bridge just outside Polokwane said police on Sunday afternoon.
“Motorists are cautioned to avoid the area if possible.”
“Disgruntled taxi operators are currently blocking the N1 and R101 roads just outside Polokwane at the Meropa Bridge,” explains provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
Reason
“Drivers from Gauteng are unhappy; “we can only bring passengers here, but are not allowed to load passengers in Polokwane to take back to Gauteng.”
