MOKOPANE – Residents in Taylor Street is concerned about a neglected property that endangers their safety.

“The piece of neglected property has turned into a bush and is a real safety threat for all of the residents living around this area,” confirmed a concerned resident whose house is looking out on the neglected land on the corner of Taylor, Van Riebeeck and Kiaat Streets.

Bosveld spoke to Merriam Molala, community services manager at Mogalakwena Municipality, who said the residents should draft a signed petition to hand in at the community services office or at the Environmental Health Department in order for an investigation to be launched.

She urged members of the community to hand in their complaints in writing at the community service office to speed up the resolving process.
