A Grade 12 learner at Eagles’ Nest Christian School received a surprise that left her speechless. The school celebrated their matric farewell party on Friday and the learner’s parents decided to make the event extra special, a celebration she would never forget.
Not only was she one of three couples that were transported to the function, held in style at the school, in a red hot helicopter, but her “date” arriving with her at the function had the school and teachers in awe.
“I did not know anything about the surprise my dad arranged for me; I was blindfolded and taken to a place – I still do not even know where,” Matlatso Moloi told Polokwane Observer.
“When we got there my Dad told me to open a door as the surprise was behind it. When I did I was amazed: None other than soapie star Vuyo Dabula was standing there. I was speechless. It was the greatest surprise ever.”
Dabula is a South African actor best known for his role as Kumkani Phakade the daily soapie Generations, the Legacy. He is the baddie everybody loves, nicknamed Gaddafi. Rumours would have it that the surprise cost her dad an arm and a leg but Polokwane Observer is not letting the cat out of the bag.
