POLOKWANE – Rameez Patel was granted bail in the Polokwane magistrate’s court today for the murder of Fanie Adams.

Adams was allegedly brutally assaulted by Patel in 2013.

Patel, who also stands accused of murdering his wife, Fatima in April, was arrested in connection with Adams’ murder on July 31.

One of the bail conditions in his wife’s murder case was that he report to the Westenburg police station three times a week, and when he reported to the station on July 31, he was arrested for Adams’ murder.

A second accused, Danford Gundidza was also arrested in Adams’ murder and appeared before the Polokwane magistrate’s court yesterday.
