The academic day of the Capricorn College for Technical Vocational Education and Training drew a full hall at the Polokwane campus on Thursday when students were entertained with unprepared speeches, debates, reading, poetry and drama.
One of the highlights of the day, was a motivational speech by Ashifashabba Muleya, Energy FM mentor. “Be the best you can be, do not forget where you come from and be disciplined,” Muleya said. The students cheered when he said “I tell jokes for a living, but my life is not a joke.”
An unprearared speech with the title “Plants have feelings too”, by Joel Mamabolo invited lots of applause and the trio Kelebogile Seema, Albert Machete and Jeaneth Chokoe, entertained their fellow students with their poem “Is it love or lust?”.
