No fuel shortage for Polokwane

There have been reports of a fuel shortage in Gauteng and some parts of the country

POLOKWANE –  There have been reports of a fuel shortage in Gauteng and some parts of the country.

According to the Fuel Retailers Association, the shortages were due to issues at two major fuel plants, reported BusinessTech.

The association said a Durban refinery had shut down for plant maintenance, while disruptions continued at the SAPREF refinery, a joint venture between Shell SA Refining and BP Southern Africa.

However, several petrol stations in the city said they had not experienced any shortages and were not notified of any shortages from their suppliers.
