Stanford Lake College gets new member

Stanford Lake College welcomes Amy Taylor who joined the staff at the beginning of the second term

POLOKWANE – Stanford Lake College welcomes Amy Taylor who joined the staff at the beginning of the second term. Taylor will be heading the English department at the school.

She says this position is a dream come true for her ever since she met a group of Stanfordians who were visiting St Cyprian’s where she was a student on a Round Square visit some years ago.

Amy moved from Uplands College in White River to the province. She lives on the campus with her cat, Domino. She said she was looking forward to go and jog in the beautiful forests around the college.

Taylor will be starting Toastmasters with the gr. 10s and gr. 11s as an extra curricular activity offered at the college.

Rona McGaffin, Stanford Lake College marketer, said the school is happy to have a new staff member and they look forward to working with her.

She said, “Taylor should feel at home, since Stanford Lake College is all about unity and we regard our school as a home away from home”.
