Bikers, CPF reach out to community

The Doornbult Community Policing Forum (CPF) and 20 Ulysses Bosveld bikers held their blanket and tin run at the Protea Hotel Landmark on July 18.

POLOKWANE – The Doornbult Community Policing Forum (CPF) and 20 Ulysses Bosveld bikers held their blanket and tin run at the Protea Hotel Landmark on July 18.

A special biker breakfast that included sandwiches, coffee and tea was served to the guests.

Tinned food, non-perishable foods and rechargeable warm water bottles were gathered by the community of Soetdorings to help make the lives of some residents easier.

Twenty-eight blankets, 18 bags of mielie meal, 24 warm water bottles, fresh produce, cleaning chemicals and tin food were gathered.

Beneficiaries included:

• Jo-Ann Rusoord.

• Bella Vista Tehuis.

• Polokwane Behoeftiges.

• Myngenoegen Shelter.

• Ivydale Shelter.

• Aretha Tehuis.

• Victory Aagels.

• Koraal 2.
