The police in the city are urgently seeking three people who are believed to have information regarding the disappearance of jewellery at Arthur Kaplan.

POLOKWANE – The police in the city are urgently seeking three people who are believed to have information regarding the disappearance of jewellery at Arthur Kaplan.
According to Polokwane police spokesperson, Capt Ntobeng Phala, two men and a woman were allegedly involved in the theft of several jewellery items on Saturday.
Ferdinand Changuion, Arthur Kaplan head office operations manager, said he could confirm that six rings were stolen.
“The details surrounding the theft is not yet clear as we are still awaiting the in-store CCTV footage and will only be able to supply further information once the footage has been reviewed,” Changuion said.
He said even though they suffered a loss, he was thankful that the theft was simply a theft and that only a small number of items were stolen.
“I am grateful that it was not a armed robbery where people could get hurt or worse.
Thieves will find a way past any security measure and it is important that we treat this as a learning experience for the future,” he said.
He thanked the police and the media for assisting in finding the suspects and said that it was good to see that the media could use the power it had to make a positive difference.
The security management of the mall confirmed that the information on the suspected thieves had been forwarded to other jewellery stores, malls and the SAPS.
Polokwane police spokesperson, Capt Ntobeng Phala said anyone with information on the identity of the suspects or any other information regarding the incident, could contact (015) 290 6469 or 082 565 8321.
Phala said all information would be treated as confidential and all information could be reported anonymously to the Polokwane police.
