Motorists still advised to be cautious on R555
Motorists travelling on the R555 near Steelpoort have been advised by the Limpopo police to be cautious.

LIMPOPO – Motorists travelling on the R555 near Steelpoort have been advised by the Limpopo police to be cautious.
“The R555 at Steelpoort is currently open and traffic is flowing following road blockages last night.”
“Motorists travelling in the area are still advised to be cautious,” said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
On Monday evening one truck was petrol bombed and another pelted with stones. A few passing vehicles were also damaged when angry protestors pelted them with stones said Otto.
On July 14 a total of 19 protestors were arrested on the charges of malicious damage to property following the petrol bombing of four trucks on R555 road
Police are patrolling the area.
