Valuable pre-exams lessons

Gr. 12 learners will be writing their trial examination soon. Review went to ask the Capricorn High School learners if they were ready for the exams...

POLOKWANE – Learners at Capricorn High School attended winter school classes during the winter holidays.

These classes help learners, especially the gr. 12 learners, to prepare for their final examinations, and help to keep learners busy in an educational way during the school holidays. The principal of the school, Lucas Chuene, says the aim of the winter school is to support gr. 12 learners with the programming component of the school curriculum. “There are learners who are given the right skill set by their teachers, who may have the right training themselves. Then there are learners who are working towards a distinction, who need to fine-tune their programming skills in preparation for the final exam,” he says.

Gr. 12 learners will be writing their trial examination soon. Review went to ask the learners if they were ready for the exams, what their biggest fear was when they heard the word “exam” and if winter school was helping them prepare for the exams.
